Learn about our consultative services

  • Ongoing caregiver training to help children, families, and support staff use AAC—tools like speech-generating devices or picture-based systems—effectively in daily life. Available for families, classrooms, day programs, and professionals.

  • Collaborative support for teams and families to improve communication strategies, implement AAC, establish communication systems, and promote consistent, effective therapy carryover. Available for both families and professionals.

What are consultative services?

Consultative speech services focus on teamwork and practical support. Rather than direct therapy, this model provides coaching, training, and collaboration for families, caregivers, teachers, and day program staff. Together, we identify communication goals, model strategies, establish communication systems, and build confidence in supporting everyday communication and AAC (speech device) use.

This approach is ideal for individuals who already receive direct therapy through school, waiver programs, or other providers—but need coordination, consistency, or extra guidance for effective AAC implementation and carryover across environments. We also provide consultative services to professionals such as day programs, teachers, and support staff of individuals with disabilities.

Consultative services are billed privately and are not covered by insurance.
